Electron mass variation from dark sector interactions and compatibility with cosmological observations

چکیده
We investigate the model where electrons and dark matter interact with energy through rolling of a scalar field which comes from extra dimensional theories such as braneworld theory Brans-Dicke theory. In this model, couples to electrons, leads larger values mass energies in early universe. also fit our cosmological data. By analyzing data Planck, baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO), light curves (Pantheon), type-Ia supernovae (SH0ES), it can be seen that Hubble tension is relieved coupling parameter prefers non-zero value significance over 2{\sigma}.

Dark Energy and Dark Matter from Cosmological Observations
The introduction of new observational techniques has in the past few years moved cosmology into the era of precision science. With the advent of precision measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB), large scale structure (LSS) of galaxies, and distant type Ia supernovae, a new paradigm of cosmology has been established. In this new standard model, the geometry is flat so that Ωtotal ...
متن کاملHow Dark is ‘Dark’? Electromagnetic Interactions in the Dark Sector
We review the physical and cosmological consequences of two possible electromagnetic couplings to the dark sector: (i) a neutral lightest dark-matter particle (LDP) with nonzero electric and/or magnetic dipole moments and (ii) a charged next-to-lightest dark-matter particle (NLDP) which decays to a neutral LDP. For scenario (i) we find that a relatively light particle with mass between a few Me...
متن کاملFirst constraint on cosmological variation of the proton-to-electron mass ratio from two independent telescopes.
A high signal-to-noise spectrum covering the largest number of hydrogen lines (90 H(2) lines and 6 HD lines) in a high-redshift object was analyzed from an observation along the sight line to the bright quasar source J2123-005 with the Ultraviolet and Visual Echelle Spectrograph on the European Southern Observatory Very Large Telescope (Paranal, Chile). This delivers a constraint on a possible ...
متن کاملNew constraint on cosmological variation of the proton-to-electron mass ratio from Q0528−250
Molecular hydrogen transitions in quasar spectra can be used to constrain variation in the proton-to-electron mass ratio, μ ≡ mp/me, at high redshifts (z 2). We present here an analysis of a new spectrum of the quasar Q0528−250, obtained on Very Large Telescope (VLT)/Ultraviolet and Visual Echelle Spectrograph (UVES), and analyse the well-known H2 absorber at z = 2.811 in this spectrum. For the...
متن کاملCosmological constraints on Neutrino - Dark Matter interactions
I summarize the results of a recent analysis where the cosmological effects of interactions of neutrinos with cold Dark Matter (DM) is investigated. This interaction produces diffusion-damped oscillations in the matter power spectrum, analogous to the acoustic oscillations in the baryon-photon fluid. I discuss the bounds from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey on the corresponding opacity defined as ...
